What is Traimerdia?
Traimerdia is Aruba’s word for after-school care: a supervised place after school, often with homework, a snack and play.
In English you’ll also see after-school care; in Dutch naschoolse opvang / BSO. On Aruba, “Traimerdia” is what parents recognize most.
It’s different from a creche: Traimerdia is mainly for school-age children, not babies.
